Molds (moulds) are commonly found in areas exposed to water damage, such as flooded homes or prior marijuana grow operations. Molds generate tiny reproductive spores, which become airborne, floating through the indoor and outdoor air continually. When mold spores land on a damp spot indoors, they may begin growing and digesting whatever they are growing on in order to survive. There are molds that can grow on wood, paper, carpet, fabrics, and foods. When excessive moisture or water accumulates indoors, mold growth will often occur, particularly if the moisture problem remains undiscovered or un-addressed.
ACM Environmental offers a distinct advantage in this area with one of the only Certified Professional mold remediation specialists in British Columbia. We provide assessments, cost estimates, testing, and monitoring, as well as a final report interpreting test results.
