In cases where contamination warrants further examination, and remediation is required, a Detailed Site Investigation (DSI) should be conducted.  A DSI normally consists of a systematic subsurface exploration of soil and groundwater conditions.  Several boreholes are drilled to access soil and groundwater at various horizons, or levels.  ACM consultants will design a testing methodology to fit your situation, manage the investigation process, and supply you with a complete report in accordance with the BC Ministry of the Environment.  Where remediation is required, we will produce an independent remediation plan following provincial regulations.

When conducting Stage I, Stage II, and Detailed Site Investigations, ACM professionals follow the latest standards for Environmental Site Assessments, including the Canadian Standards Association (CSA), the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), and the American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM).
