Lead exposure as a result of deteriorating or disturbing lead paint, is coming to the forefront of safety concerns in renovation, construction, and demolition. Our customized training provides information to assist our clients in maintaining regulatory compliance.
While permissible worker exposure levels are established in British Columbia, post abatement levels for surface lead dust are currently under review. Even the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has levels for residential dwellings only. As such, it is important that training participants receive the most current information available to ensure due diligence and worker safety are maximized.
While ACM provides the most current information available, a regulatory review should be completed prior to the start of any lead abatement project to ensure regulatory compliance, and up to date worker protection, as new information becomes available.
